About Me

My name is Greg. I moved to Los Angeles recently because I want to find musicians to work with. Check out my Last.fm page to see the artists that I’m into lately. Also, check out the music I make, particularly my creative portfolio. If you want to make music like the artists I like or the music I’ve made, I’d love to talk about collaborating with you.

(I also want to learn more about music and professionally serve others with my music. So after you read a little bit about my background, check out how I might be able to help you out, as well as some samples of my professional work.)

I created a soundtrack for an independent film (see my credits on my IMDb page). I’ve done production work with labels like CMH Records and Skyline Entertainment. I’ve done professional video game soundtrack work, I’ve sold beats to independent artists, and I’ve recorded, mixed, and mastered for independent artists.

I started producing in 2007, and I’ve used a variety of software. I love creating music–composing and songwriting in hip hop, R&B, and pop. I also record, mix, and master my own music.

Me with one of my college bands (I’m on the far right)

I started studying music by playing clarinet from 5th grade through my first year of college–9 years of playing in band and in a classical orchestra. I’ve also played jazz and funk on the alto saxophone, rock and blues on the electric bass, and pop and jazz on the piano.

I was a jazz studies minor in college. I also took classical music theory. In all, I took 16 semesters of college-level music theory and performance classes.

Besides producing tracks, I’ve also transcribed sheet music from recordings and given music lessons.
